2011 Fall University of Scouting will be held in Brooklyn Park on October 29, 2011. Leaders from all over the council gather to learn the latest in Scouting techniques and to share ideas. University of Scouting is designed for every leader in every unit - Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts and Venturing. This event is designed to provide adult leaders with opportunities for both basic leader training AND skills beyond basic leader training. Scouters who have attended the University of Scouting before always seem to find new and exciting workshops to attend each year.
This mega-training seminar, an all-day event, offers opportunities for games and hands-on learning as well as traditional classroom sessions. As always, you will be able to take your choice of workshops and learning sessions delivered by some of the finest instructors from all over the Council. Choose from over 120 courses with an emphasis on programs, skills, and resources to deliver high quality opportunities to the Scouts. New leader and position specific training will also be offered.
